在2021賽季站穩大聯盟輪值的
太空人27歲多明尼加左投Framber Valdez
最近完成小時候的承諾，自掏腰包替家鄉蓋了教堂
他從14歲開始上教堂，並且承諾導師說
總有一天站上大聯盟後，會回來替家鄉蓋教堂
後來他在2015年被太空人挖掘
前往美國打球
而現在他達成了當初的目標，所以回來實現承諾
根據報導
Valdez花了200萬多明尼加披索(折合10萬美金)
建造1,500平方英尺可容納50人的教堂

而其實從小Framber Valdez就蠻愛建築的
因為爸爸就是做營建業的XD
所以他也全程參與教堂興建計畫
