Opening statement:

“Our defense was solid early. We had a bunch of shots on the basket with
bobbles and blocks. They got up a little bit. We had some nerves; a little bit
of a nervy start. Then we got back and it was 40-all when Carlos (Delfino) came
back and had a lay-up blocked.”

“We just didn’t play very well. That’s the bottom line. They played well.
Basically, we had some stuff early that I thought were good looks that we didn’
t make and then we started to press a little bit.”

開場白: 我們的防守一開始還不錯，但我們的跳投不是彈出來就被巴鍋

“Ibaka played well. Not just on making shots but also blocking shots. He made
it tough around the rim. There were some shots that we just couldn’t put in
and he made some shots. He hit a 3 from the left corner. He played well and
Russell (Westbrook) got loose on us. At half he had 10 points, seven rebounds
and seven assists.”

“That has given us problems off and on all year. If we’re not back cutting

(experience make a big difference?) We bobbled some balls around the paint,
they had a couple blocks and we had a couple point-blankers that we didn’t
finish. There are a lot of guys out there playing in their first playoff game.
I was interested to see how we were going to start. I was happy that we were
able to gain our footing and tie it up in the second quarter but we didn’t
have a whole lot of flow and you have to give Oklahoma City credit: they took
us out of most of what we were trying to do.

down, but we’ve been up and down. We’re one of the youngest teams in the
league and you’re going to be up and down. He’s a young kid and this was his
first playoff game. I think that sometimes the expectation levels are so high.
He’ll be better the next game. He’s a tough kid and he’ll bounce back.

(對於啾咪的表現)

(on picking up his third foul) That was bad. There was nothing I could do
besides sit there and watch so that was very frustrating and that kind of took
me out of my game a little bit.

(looking at things you want to improve) I’m going to do that on the whole
flight home. There are a lot of areas we need to get better at. This is just
one game. I just have to learn from this and get better from this.

We got off to a shaky start and any time you get down that much it takes a lot
of energy to get back in it to tie it up. Every mistake we made, they punished
us for it. We missed a lot of open shots. With their defense and the way they’
re switching so much, we’re going to have shots so there’s no way we shoot
the bad or play that poorly again.

excuse anymore. We’ve already gotten it out. We played terrible all the way
across the board, offensive and defensively. That one’s over with for us so we
’re going to learn a lot and I’m personally going to learn a lot. Then it’s
time to move on – another game on Wednesday.

但我們不管進攻或防守端，都表現的有點糟糕
這一場比賽已經結束了，所以我們必須從中學習些什麼，就我個人而言，我學到了不少

(were you happy with your shots?) I literally thought every single one of my
shots was going in. I’m being completely honest when I say I thought every
single one was in. They were all just kind of back rim; I don’t know if I was
a little too excited or whatever it might be but that’s not going to happen
every game.

(滿意你的投籃表現嗎?)



I don’t think anyone in (the locker room) is saying we played well, even for a
stretch. I think we played bad all the way across the board and we were still
within four. I think our team is capable of so much more and I think everybody,
starting with myself, is capable of a lot more. Hopefully we can come back here
on Wednesday and make a series out of this.

I’ve been through a lot of situations this season that have prepared me for
this – tough games, tough stretches – and have often resulted or led to
better performances or better stretches of basketball, and a lot of it is
because you go through something like this. For us, we don’t have time to
learn at this point being down 1-0, so we gotta go.

我不覺得休息室裡有任何一個人會說我們今天打得很好，甚至有一點競爭力

On feeling of playing OKC in the playoffs:

“There were definitely nerves. Not just for me, but also for my teammates that
are going through their first playoff game on the road. It’s one game and it
is best out of seven game series and we just have to get ready for Game Two.”

當然是有些緊張，不只對我而言，對我的隊友們也是一樣，
這是他們第一次打季後賽，而且還是客場作戰


"We need to be more effective as a team, offensively and defensively. We
played a little too timid and I think it is some guys first time out there. We
just have to get better and be ready for Game Two."

(有什麼需要改進的部分)
