  Uber的XC90自動駕駛車犯下嚴重疏失，它在美國舊金山街頭「闖紅燈」，
而且過程還被拍到，闖紅燈的影片上傳到Youtube後引發軒然大波。

  加州政府對此非常生氣，已經下令禁止Uber的自駕車服務在加州上路，
以保障民眾生命安全。




 ◇美國媒體批評Uber向來不尊重法律

  美國富比士雜誌對此也看不下去了，他們批評Uber罔顧人命，
自認為他們可以超越在法律之上。

of behavior that the rest of society follows.

  Uber完全無視加州政府訂定的自駕車測試相關法規。

  Now it has completely disregarded California regulations about testing
autonomous vehicles on public roads.

  Why should a company like Uber be allowed to just because they have a
valuation of more than $60 billion?

  Uber一直忽視那些和計程車業相關的所有法規，而且還用很可笑的方式來曲解勞基法，
Uber聲稱那100多萬名Uber司機並不能說是被他們所聘雇的。

  The company has consistently ignored all regulations around taxi services
and put its own ridiculous interpretation on labor laws to declare that
none of the more than 1 million drivers that are key to its service are
considered employees.


 ◇無視政府禁令，Uber打算續推自駕車服務

  沒想到Uber才沉寂幾天，就竟然膽敢違反加州政府禁令，打算繼續在加州舊金山進行
自動駕駛車服務，完全無視政府公權力和民眾的生命安全。

  Uber先進科技部門的副總Anthony Levandowski辯稱，加州訂定的自駕車法令和他們無關
，因為"self-driving" 和"autonomous" 兩者是不同的，

  加州自駕車測試法規是規範那種電腦能完全獨立自主的"autonomous" cars，
而Uber的XC90自駕車是"self-driving" cars，無法完全獨立自主，還是需要靠人類。

  他還說他們並不是在鑽法律漏洞。
