大意：親朋好友表示，喬治敦大學前教練John Thompson已去世，Thompson今年78歲，死
因尚不明。
他五月剛從Nike董事會退休，並且預定於明年一月發行自傳。他是第一個贏得NCAA冠軍的
黑人教練。
原文：Former Georgetown coach John Thompson has died, according to friends and
family.
There is no word on a cause yet. Thompson was 78 years old.
He had recently retired in May from the Nike Board of Directors.
Thompson has an autobiography set to be released in January. He was the first
Black coach to win the NCAA championship.
