“We talked about it, had a team meeting I guess,” Tatum said. “But I know how
 to play basketball, I’ve been doing it a long time, pretty successful at it. I
’ve always made the right plays. Not perfect, I’ve got things I can work on. T
hat’s the good part about it. As young as I am and as good as people think I am
, I have a lot to improve on.”



“Obviously I made some shots and played better on offense,” Tatum said. “Some
thing I wasn’t worried about - I knew I was struggling on that end to play well
 and hit shots, but I’ve put too much time in and too much work to doubt myself
 or what I’m capable of. My teammates, my coaches and everyone we play know wha
t I’m capable of. You go through periods like that where things aren’t going t
he way you want them to go. You keep working and embracing it and figuring it ou
t. It’s a long season and we have a lot of games to play, obviously. You see ev
erything people say and you hear everything, but that’s part of it. I should be
 worried if you guys stop talking about me. That would be a problem. But it’s p
art of the business, part of what I do, and take it with a grain of salt.”
