Some argue that Klutch Sports badly mismanaged the circumstances of Ben Simmons
’ trade request from the Philadelphia 76ers. Others maintain that the aggressiv
e tactics of Rich Paul and company have all been in their client’s best interes
t, especially once it became clear Simmons’ mental health was a factor in this
ongoing stalemate with his team.



No matter where they stand on Klutch’s approach to his impending separation fro
m Philadelphia, though, anyone could admit the agency’s All-Star vote for Simmo
ns rings a bit hollow.

That’s Klutch’s official Twitter account voting for Simmons to attend the mids
eason festivities in Cleveland on February 20th. He hasn’t appeared in a single
 game for the Sixers this season after the team failed to grant his offseason tr
ade request.

It bears mentioning, of course, that Klutch has solicited All-Star votes for all
 of its clients on social media. Its tweet for Simmons might as well have been a
utomated. Then again, maybe not everyone agrees that an All-Star vote for Simmon
s is so ridiculous. Klutch’s tally has been retweeted thousands and thousands o
f times already.
