The past week has been great; we have had time to follow up on retailers and distribution inquiries from all over the world. We initiated a co-operation with a company that can handle all logistics, and we had time to go tell the factory the good news.

Last Tuesday, while Nikolaj was holding down the fort, me (Jonas) and Theo went to visit the factory that we choose for the production of Sitpack. The factory, Vandborg A/S is a 2nd generation family owned business. Jes, the owner, is the #1 go to guy, in Denmark, for complex injection molding. He is born and raised (more or less) in the factory, and is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to injection molding. The past year we have been in contact with several molding factories, and Vandborg A/S* is with out a doubt the best choice. (*stock listed co.)

We choose Vandborg based on their experience, their enthusiasm for Sitpack, and the fact that they make injection molds in-house, quite unique these days. Making molds on the premises is a huge benefit for us, as any corrections that might be needed along the way can be made right on the spot. We signed the contract with Vandborg A/S that day (check the hand shaking picture- Jes is in the middle). It was a good day. After signing the contract, Jes and Theo used a good many hours nerd'ing the detailed engineering process on the molds, and optimizing Sitpack even more. I can tell you all that making this product is historic milestone in telescopic functionality, and injection molding. I am looking so much forward to showing you the CNC cutting and sculpting of the forms, and the injection process it self - it is impressive to say the least. But for now, here is a little homemade teaser, from the factory. We made it when everyone was in the canteen for lunch.
