不會怎樣；
因為它會被乙醯膽鹼（英語：Acetylcholine, ACh，分子式CH3COOCH2CH2N+（CH3）3）
吸引，此物質為為中樞及周邊神經系統中常見的神經傳導物質。
因為蟲體內有驗出CHRM1結構物，即蕈毒類乙醯膽鹼受器
Muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M1，所以他會把星形膠質細胞（astrocyte）當作
食物消耗，該物質存在於腦和脊髓的一種神經膠質細胞(glia)。
所以因為鼻腔跟大腦中間只有薄如餅乾脆片的篩板(Cribriform plate)部分讓嗅覺神經
進入鼻腔，所以它可以順著這個管道進入大腦，大吃特吃，繁衍後代。
篩板有多薄，可以自己google，薄到你無法想像，古代的木乃伊要把大腦撈出來，似乎就
是透過這裡。
所以除了鼻腔之外，身體其他部位因為沒有直接把你的大片神經系統外漏出來給他，所以
不會怎樣。

台灣之前有人泡溫泉泡到食腦蟲，我在想他是不是喜歡在溫泉裡面把頭整個塞下去泡。

沒錯，英國巴斯的羅馬浴場，當初就是因為變成食腦蟲的溫床，所以關閉不給人下水。
