(#85) from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

(2) @Yankees: Today, the Yankees optioned RHP Randy Vásquez to
Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

(3) @BryanHoch: Carlos Rodón is scheduled to start for the Yankees on Tuesday.
Luis Severino will start on Wednesday, per Aaron Boone.

(4) @BryanHoch: Aaron Boone on calling up Everson Pereira or Austin Wells:
“Those guys are obviously knocking on the door.” He noted Pereira is on the
40-man roster and Wells isn’t. “Those are guys that are pushing their way into
the conversation.”

(5) @ktsharp: This is the 3rd time in franchise history the Yankees had a
combined 0 runs and 5 hits or fewer in any 2-game span within a series.

It also happened June 21-22, 1916 vs Red Sox and June 7-8, 1914 vs White Sox

(6) @ktsharp: Yankees are 24-36 (.400) in their last 60 games.

It is their worst 60-game stretch within a season since June-August 1992.

(7) @ktsharp: Since reaching a season-best 36-25 after beating the Dodgers on
June 4, the Yankees are 24-36 (.400).

The only teams with a worse record after that date are the White Sox, A's,
Royals, Pirates, Rockies.
