said the Taiwanese government needs to salvage the trade deal or its
credibility will be damaged. But any deal with China is controversial,
and Ma is deeply unpopular among supporters of the opposition Democratic
Progressive Party.

台灣政府必須挽救貿易協議否則他的信用將會受損。
但是任何跟中國的協議都是有爭議的，而且馬先生非常不受吱吱歡迎。

v“Clearly, the concerns about this bill are greatly heightened because the
counterpart is the PRC [People’s Republic of China], and there is a general
worry about the implications of becoming more dependent on mainland markets

很顯然，因為對方是中國，而且會有更依賴大陸市場和大陸企業進入台灣市場的顧慮，
因此對於這項法案的關注大大提高。
