Stefanos Tsitsipas has fired coach Mark Philippoussis following an embarrassing
second-round defeat at the US Open. The World No. 7 suffered a loss against Domi
nic Stricker in a five-set match with a score of 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 6-7, 3-6.

Following the match, there was a ripple effect that resulted in the dismissal of
coach Philippoussis by Tsitsipas. While Tsitsipas didn’t reveal this developme
nt during the English press conference, he did confirm it in the Greek version,
leaving the tennis world uncertain about the decision.
